Metropolis January Glam Bag

It's time for another Ipsy post!

My second glam bag just came in the mail and I'm in love! The theme is metropolis so it's all about the city this month.

This bag is visually stunning! It has a faint, light bluish grey color with shiny silver peeking through the open circles. I also love the size of the glam bags. Not too big and not too small. Perfect for early mornings when you have to just grab a bag of makeup and go!

First up is this SLMissGlam Blend Beauty Brush L34. I can't get over how beautiful the color of this brush is! The snow white brush melts into a gorgeous lavender, and it's so soft! It is perfect for light blending. If you're looking for something that will blend aggressively, this is not the right brush. Because it is so soft, the bristles are so far from stiff. I love it because it gives my eyes a beautiful, soft look and blends just enough while still leaving definition.

Next up is Manna Kadar Cosmetics Fantasy 3-in-1 Eyeshadow. So this magical product can be used as a blush, highlighter, and eyeshadow. Personally, I can only use it as an eyeshadow. Maybe a blush if blended with another color, but it is too dark for me to use as a highlighter. However, holy moly it is beautiful as an eyeshadow! It is very pigmented so you don't need much. But it has a beautiful neutral color with peach undertones. It's also shiny and I'm a little obsessed. I like to blend it into my crease last to add brightness and little extra color.

This ModelCo BLUSH Cheek Powder in Peach Bellini has been moved to the top of my favorite blush list. Blush isn't always my best friend. I can never seem to find the right shade! They're either too pink, red, or barely noticeable. But this stuff is AH-MAZING! It's not too pink, it really is peach! But not orangey at all! Like the eyeshadow, it has just right amount of shine. It's also very pigmented too, so only use a little at a time and slowly blend in more until you get just the right amount.

Next up is this Jelly Pong Pong Coffee + Coconut Lip Scrub. I have a brand new set of lips after using this stuff! In the winter, my lips and skin in general get really dry and start cracking. I load my lips up with chapstick throughout the day, but they were still such a mess and I knew the needed some serious TLC. Right after I got out of the shower, I smeared this scrub on them and rubbed vigorously with a toothbrush for about a minute to really get all the stubborn dead skin off. I washed it off with warm water and smear maracuja oil all over. My lips are back! No hard, dead skin! Just smooth, soft, supple lips! And to make things even better, this scrub smells amazing!

Last is this Ciate London GELOLOGY Top Coat. I love this polish so much I'll probably marry it and become Mrs. GELOLOGY Top Coat. No matter how hard I try, I can't make nail polish last longer than a day on me. I'm in the kitchen all day everyday cooking and coming up with new recipes. Usually within hours, at least part of my nail polish has cracked... It just can't seem to handle the constant washing and hot water. With this polish, my manicure is already staying on longer! My only complaint is that it took a little bit of my polish color off when I painted the top coat on. My color underneath was definitely dry too. If you use it, know you'll fall in love with it too, but don't brush too hard!

I hope you enjoyed this month's Ipsy roundup! Give these products a try, I promise you'll love them!
