It's spring break! After a long couple months of classes, I am long overdue for a break. I started the week off by getting together with a few friends for lunch and an afternoon at the art museum yesterday. The 70 degree weather left NC for a little bit and the chilly weather moved in. I wanted an outfit that was fun and casual, but would keep me warm in the 50 degree temperatures. This outfit did that perfectly.
My favorite pair of jeggings were a necessity. These pants are a little long, so I rolled them up a few times and made some nice cuffs. I paired it with a white speckled green top.
I really didn't want to wear and carry around a bulky jacket, but I needed something to keep me warm. So, I went with this super comfy blanket scarf. It has different shades of tans to add contrast, a pop of red, and green that ties in with the shirt. This scarf has a little fringe around the edges to add even more to this outfit.
The star of the show is definitely this pair of converse. I am obsessed! They are a beautiful bright white with a little patriotic flare of red and blue. They honestly look good with almost every outfit. I had been eying a pair for awhile and finally decided to splurge and buy a pair. I was a little concerned about keeping them clean, but the best part of converse is that you can just throw them in the washing machine and they're good to go! So far though I haven't had a problem keeping them nice and white. Besides being extremely fashionable, these are probably one of the most comfortable pairs of shoes I own. If you've been thinking about these shoes, please go out and buy a pair. I promise, you will love them!
I hope you enjoyed this post and have a wonderful week! Happy Monday!
