With Christmas coming in just a few days, you might be rummaging through your closet to try to find the perfect outfit for a Christmas Eve party, Christmas dinner, or really any Christmas event. I hope my holiday outfit offers some inspiration to you!
I love this outfit so much. It was also super easy to piece together and shopping was a breeze because I got almost all of the pieces from the same store.
The first piece of this outfit is this gorgeous red dress from Rue 21. It fits perfectly in all the right places and is beyond comfortable. The material is light and soft, but heavy enough to lay just right. It has a beautiful halter top and is very unique compared to most holiday dresses. In the back, there's a teardrop cutout that takes this dress to another level. Sometimes, elegance is in simplicity.
Because it can get chilly, I paired this dress with a lace-y white wrap also from Rue 21. I wanted something that was simple and wouldn't take away from the beauty of the dress. This wrap is thin and not bulky at all. It is higher in the back with stunning lace covering about half of it, and has two strands in the front that come down lower to really frame everything. You could even get creative and tie the two pieces together if you didn't want to leave it open.
Last, accessories! You can honestly pair just about anything with this outfit and it just seems it work. I picked my favorite ruby earrings, black clutch, and shiny black pumps. You could also wear nude pumps and it would look just as amazing.
If you live somewhere where winter gets really cold, it would be a good idea to wear a nice warm coat and sport this outfit indoors. But, if you live in North Carolina where the temperature changes daily, you're probably good to go.
