Know Your Worth

This topic has been on my heart for a little while now. Not many people nowadays know their worth. So many struggle with insecurities and let them define who they think they are. This thought process is so corrupting to the individual and those around them.

The problem isn't the insecurities themselves. Everyone has insecurities and things we might not love about ourselves. The issue is not being able to move past the insecurities. People have a tendency to dwell on those things. I'm not smart enough, not pretty enough, not strong enough, and just not enough in general.

This is something I used to struggle with a lot. I was always worried that I wouldn't be enough for a significant other, for my friends, and even for my family. The issue was that I didn't understand my worth. I had forgotten about the One who made me and died for me because of His desire to love me.

Then I thought to myself, "If you're enough for God, the absolute most high and His realm of glory, then why wouldn't you be enough for this material world?"

Once this thought process changed, everything changed. You start to appreciate the little things in life more. You start to see who truly cares about you and you start to see how much you care about yourself. You start to hold yourself to higher standards because you finally understand what you're made for.

You are enough, and in fact, you are so much more than enough.

If those around you make you feel any less, it's probably a good idea to reevaluate those you surround yourself with. You weren't meant to blend in. God made you and gave you quirks and special qualities so you could be different. He wants you to be radical, unique, and revolutionary so you can change the world. The world's biggest influencers didn't become role models by blending in and living in their insecurities.

If this is something you've been struggling with, let me remind you how special you are. You are beautiful, you are special, you are smart, you are strong, and you are enough. Don't be scared to wear your hair natural or go out without makeup. Be who you were created to be. Know your standards and know your worth. Never question who you are, or whose you are. Don't be intimidated by others or let anyone make you feel small. Ever. You are worth so much.

Have a beautiful week,
